I also bought a 4X test pack from http://www.supermediastore.com which has like 5pcs DVD-ON 4x media and 5pcs Ritek, I receive the disc before the new year and has tried the 4x. It was great!! Finally an impressive burning speed. Have not try the ritek yet, but I was reading an article on their site, it seems that the ritek are able to burn at 2x. I'll post more once I tryout the RitekG03 media.

Does anyone know (accesscard18?) if you can burn the Leda media at 2x w/ the newest firmware?
BTW where you I d/load the newest firmware. I only see updates for the A04, but nothing for the A05. -
Tried Memorex first and it started pixelating 1/2 way through the movie on my player. Then tried Verbatim (on sale at target for 9.99 for a dvd-r 3 pak) and it worked great. Will buy a bulk pack of Riteks soon.

any dvdr with the ritek dye is a good bet!!! stay away from tdk dye as they fail!!
princo
ritek
pioneer
verbatim
they are all fine & dandy & work...
cheaper disks write but dont play!!
traxdata are probably ya best bet on a disk as they work everytime

For the Aussies I suggest Melody 2X ($2.50) in bulk. Works all the time. Datastream is another good buy for 2X. Avoid any generic plain ones that the vendor tries to pass off as unlabeled TDK's.
