  1. Hello...I know I missing something...but I dont know what it is. I want toit will play on m take a SVCD and put the header trick on it and burn it in Nero to see if it will play on my dvd player. When I go open up TMPGEnc and go to mpeg tools and load the file I would like to rename I get a message saying that it cannot create the file. Am I missing a plugin of some sort? I downloaded the header trick and saved it to were the tmpgenc is installed on my computer...but still no luck. Anyone come across with this problem? Thanks.

If you're trying to spoof a DVD player by wrapping a SVCD MPEG2 file in a VCD wrapper, then NER0 will do it all for you and you don't need TMPGEnc.

Just open NERO and select VCD.
Drag the MPEG2 file from the svcd into nero and it will be processed by NERO.

When prompted , "turn off compliance" and hit burn.

    That's it !

It'll burn a MPEG2 VCD that'll work in quite a few DVD players.
It's a much simpler way of doing the "header" trick

I download a fair number of SVCD movies in BIN/CUE format. I load the BIN/CUE into FantomCD (a CD Emulator) . Browse the "virtual" CD and drag the MPEG2 file into Nero and burn. They look fantastic on my Toshiba DVD player. I'm watching LOTR Two towers (DVD screener) right now . Fabulous !

If this is what you're wnating to do, then great.
If not, then i've misunderstood your question. opps
