    I was thinking of buying this real time card for the obvious reasons of speeding up the vcd process. The only problem I have is the video formats. My version of Adobe Premier that I use to edit my home movies won't except Mpeg2 files. So... if I capture with this card is it safe to say that my Adobe program will be useless?

    That rigth ashtones you have use there MPEG Editor or Womble Multimedia Mpeg2vcr or InterVideo WinProducer.
