Menu pixelation, 2nd disc dvdxcopy

Anyone had problems getting the 2nd disc on DVD xcopy to bring up the menu? 1st DVD-R works fine. On the E.T. 2nd DVD (bonus features & original movie) I set the 2nd DVD-R to start playing the movie but keep the menu since the extras will be on the 2nd DVD-R. When I play the 2nd DVD-R, no problems with each chapter. When I hit the Menu I get a lockup on standalone DVD players and on the PC DVD-ROM I get a pixelation menu. I'm on the menu because I can move through the items and hit enter to select them but the screen is trashed.

any ideas?

One I bet you are using version 1.2 or 1.3 and using either a Pioneer or Sony -R burner, I stuck with the beta version of DVDxCOPY and using a HP DVD200i +R and no probs with 2nd disc, had nothing but headaches with the newer versions 1.2 or 1.3, only reason I asked about what Burner you were using is that the newer 4x burners the beta version does not see these drives.

1.3 w/sonydru500 and Win XP w/nero.

Do you think using the Gear drivers w/1.3.1 will fix this?

That was it. 1.3.1 with Gear fixed the problem. Nero burning has issues with some DVDs I guess. I tried different media with Nero and it still fails but with Gear it's fine.
