  1. Well I am Farley new to this and I have recently converted a movie to an SVCD mpeg. The file is 3.12GB and I know I wont be able to fit it on one or even 2-3 maybe even 4 cd-r's! Well the movie runtime is ~161Min. and the bit rate is 2520Kbps. what is the easiest way to figure out how many peaces I have to cut it into to get it to fit equally on to as many cd's as it takes? Is there any program to do it? Should I cut the file up according to minutes? I know that I can fit 80min of cd audio on a cd how do I figure out how much SVCD data I can put on a disk?

    Thanks,

You can use bbmpeg to cut by size. You will fit about 795 MB on 80 min CD.
