  1. I'm having trouble converting this to SVCD:



    i've ripped the audio with VirtualDub but when i load the avi file in TMP i get:
    "can not open or unsupported"

    any ideas?

  2. looks as though you have AC3 audio. Load the file into Vdub save out your audio as a wave but call it xxxx.ac3. this will then save the audio as a wave file. In explorer delete the wave ext so it again reads xxx.AC3.

    Load this file into Headac3e and save out as an uncompressed wave, it might take a while and leave the default settings as is. If you don't have this file pm me with your mail address!

    Then load back into TMPGenc and use this as your audio source.

    If you have any probs with the XVID codec you can higher the environmental settings with VFAPI so that Directshow is at its highest. Personally it doesn't work for me so I save out the video stream as a different compression usually 4.12.

    This should solve your probs!!!
