  1. I could use some help. I have a Panasonic E30. I record several shows onto DVD-R and Id like to bring them into the PC for editing to take the commercials out. After I edit them out, Id like to remaster them back to DVD-R.

I use dvd decrypter to suck the VOBs off the DVD-R. Then I use DVD2AVI to make the project file. Now...this is where Im a bit confused.

What is the BEST method to turn the VOBs into a avi to be edited?

If anyone has a good method, Id love to hear it.

    Thanks!

  2. umm i do this often, but havent done one for a little while,
i believe the next step in your mission is to load the project file into VFAPIConv

takes a second to make a fake AVI header so you can then load it into Virtual Dub

    try that....

  4. no, just video,
DVD2AVI if i recall correctly, strips a seperate .wav file

so.. when ya open VD with your new video file,
    open Audio > WAV
and then select the wav file that DVD2AVI made and your off and running
