Spruceup won't play files

I can't for the life of me figure this one out. I have vcds with the proper streams yet after I do through the steps of;

One will play in spruceup during checking (simulate) yet the other will not.
Both files get added as a media asset no problem. I can play both files as mpegs, and also I can play both mp2 files and even the mv1 files.

Both have;
Stream:
Type: MPEG1
Bitrate: 1.150 Mbps
Framerate: 29.970 Hz
Resolution: 352x240
Aspect ratio: 4x3

Can anyone help me out?

Spruceup is also crashing on my during creation of vob files. I guess the mpeg-vcds must have an error in them ...

Funny but I have not gotten any other indication that there was a problem with the files. Maybe if someone knows a way to check the files somehow...
