  1. Hello all. First may I say that I love this site. It has really inspired me to follow my passion of developing digital video. Thanks for giving us this forum and thanks for all the input.

    OK, down to business. I have several mpeg2 files captured by my ATI AIW 128 pro. I use close to CVD format (352x480, 2400rate) as I was hoping to create some cvd disks. I used Pinnacle Studio 8 to identify the commercials I want to remove. Next I was trying to load the mpeg2 file into TMPGEnc to edit and encode it, but upon selecting the file to load I either get an error or the program crashes.

    Any help you can offer is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance and God bless.

    To re-encode mpeg 2 with TMPGenc, you need to frameserve!
    The best solution is with DVD2AVI 1.76. Look at the guides "convert mpeg 2 to SVCD". It is the same, only the resolution change
