  1. hi all

i need help on this 1!

i have encoded my divx file to dvd mpeg with tmpgenc it worked fine and then i got ulead factory appz setup. i done my scene selection shit and then began the write disc part. before it writes the information automatically mutiplexs the audio and video and then converts it to vob.the whole process went well the problem was when i played the disc, it worked but the sync went out about 20 minutes in to the movie.i copied it about 4 times both 2x and 1x no difference. the file its self before using ulead factory plays properly through media player with no sync problem. i tried another way which i thought would be smart but no good. what i did was just convert the dvd mpeg to vob through ulead factory with out writing to disc then use nero to copy the vobs but it still went out of sync on the same spot of the movie. please help please

  2. Master2004,
Well this has really nothing to do with your post but lucky you, sort of...., my problem with this program is after converting footage from a DV Camcorder thru Ulead and burning a dvd my computer locks up at the 100% mark. When I try the burned disc on my home dvd player it works but I get pixelization. The first disc I tried it occured about 50 minutes into the dvd out of 90 minutes. The second time I tried, it went maybe 15 minutes into the movie. The last time I tried it went 9 minutes into the movie. After which the movie stops period. Had any problems with this??
Next I tried to burn using nero...no such luck. Burning only a data file.
Then I tried NeroVision Express. The first time it was an all nighter (8 hours) it was trancoding the 90min mpg2 file and I guess somewhere near the end about 95% it crapped out.
The second time I tried it, it crapped out at about 50%.
The final time I tried it I cut my footage in half to about 45 minutes and it crapped out sooner.

I'm bummed cause both Nerovision and Ulead's Movie Factory looks like ther're solid ass programs.

I have 2 or 3 more options that I'm gonna try. Even as we speak I'm trying out Instant Vob. If this one works I'd be a little disappointed though as it doesn't seem to have the bells and whistles that Nero & Ulead have.

The next two programs I'm going to try is Primo DVD if I can get this trial one to work and Ulead's Workshop.

Sorry couldn't help ya but thanks for the eyes!
