  1. I've been trying to burn an svcd with vcdeasy, but continue to get an error at the end stating that there is no driver found for my cd-rw drive. But when I check in device manager it shows one. It also says that it cannot setup device 1,0,0. I tried to use "Force Driver" but that doesn't work either. Any suggestions?

After you installed the ForceASPI drivers, did you:

    1. Reboot?
    2. In the bottom right corner did it state "ASPI seems valid: yes"
    3. Go to the CDRDAO settings page and select generic-mmc as the force driver for the CD Writer
    4. Select your specific CD Writer in the dropdown menu of the CD Writer section
    5. Put a check in the "force execution" box
