i used smartripper to rip the files
then ran dvd2avi
i then use tmpge to attempt to browse to the video file, .d2v file and i get an error message saying tmpge cant open the file, not supported or something like that
can anyone help with this
i tried tmpge 2.53 and 2.58
i have tried 2 different movies and get the same thing
i want to say i had a similiar problem a year or so ago and was missing a plugin or something. can anyone confirm this, that i need a plugin with tmpge or what not?
thanks in advance

Try to change the codec reader settings in TMPGEnc under Option->Environmental settings->VFAPI plug-in and right click on the DirectShow Multimedia File Reader and increase the priority to 1 or 2 and try to open the video.
Hope That Helps!!! -

3, 4 and 5
