    Have downloaded a film which is showing a WMV2 codec.
    Have got the latest nimo & tsunami but still not correct codec.

    Is this something new from Microsoft.

    Search the M$ site for the WMV8 codec pack. Do NOT d/l and install the WMP9 or WME9, you will take a 1-way trip to M$ land.
