vcd cut off (help

im just converting a divx to vcd, and when i preview it some of the movie is cut off is this normal, or should i try it again

When you say "preview", what do yo mean? watching the output mpg file? how much is cut off. I have had about a half second cut from the beginning and end before but usually its not an issue as there usually isnt anything important in the first and last second.

what i mean is while i am converting it you can preview it even if its not done. and its not the time that is being cut off it is the actual picture

what software are you using? and is it cut off the sides or the top or bottom?

I am using tmpge and its cut off at the sides

under settings click the advance tab and full screen( keep aspect ratio) in the video arrange method box

yes. just stop the current encode do all the same settings except change what i mentioned earlier. then start again.
