I croped a movie by shrinking the movie and adding black borders so i could put text there with another program but when i went to save it the file was really big at least 10x more i tryed useing different compressors but it still was very big. I didn't increase the resolution so this doesn't make sense some one help!

I don't know, which codec was used to compress the sourcevideo. Maybe you
have set the bitrate too high or you have used a different codec at all. Could you give us/me more details about the used codecs and Vdub settings?

  4. Try DIVX-MPEG4 - Low Motion.
