  1. Hi this is my first post ..my friend has a screener dvd of a movie that plays a copyright after you press play movie from the menu for about 10 seconds.. I've tried to use ifoedit/vobrator to delete playback of the ID but It does not have one that I can remove It's a part of the movie file ..so My question is is it possible using the tools available like vobedit or ifoedit to remove first 10 second of the video straight for the vob file or editing video_ts_x.ifo files without demux/remux and editing the mpg file... Or can you have ifoedit to jump to a movie location 10 seconds after the play ?? not sure If I make any sense explaining this ..basically he wants to remove or hide the first 10 seconds of movie without lot of hassle and less time consumption.then burn to dvd-r ... anyhelp is appreciated.....
    thanks all...

  2. you could try this trick, but depending on your DVD player, it may hang.
I did this on SPIDERMAN, that stupid 3 min credit intro. Also did it on Rat Race to make it fir on a DVDr without reEncoding. You simply Cut the VOB up. You remove a section the splice it back together. There WILL be a frame jump/audio skip at the jump point, but who cares if its just a intro warning. You basically have to master VOBedit and vStrip(with GUI).
Using those tools, you can frame accurately cut out a small section of any vob and merge them back together.

Keep in mind read my Post on NAVIGATIONAL packs,

as long as you cut AFTER the first Nav pack, then prior to last one of the section you want removed, then splice it back together, it should work.
