Tray won't open - Cyberhome 500

My apologies in advance if this is a "newbie" question, however I have hooked up my Cyberhome 500 and I get the onsceen display fine, however when I attempt to open the tray I get an onscreen notification that says "Open" on both the unit and my TV, however the tray doesn't open.

My first thought was that perhaps there was an anti-shock shipping button however I neither located one nor saw any listing in the manual.

Has anyone else had this problem or can suggest what the issue may be?

Problem solved.


I cracked the case and 'lo and behold, the IDE cable had come unplugged from the board. I should have known it would be something simple
