Thanks in advance for anybody who replys
I began converting some divx movies,to svcd using cce,but began getting strange results! The movie was fine-but had a purple haze over it!i put these movies aside but cant figure what im doing wrong-i though i might not hae the correct codecs installed so i made a stupid movie of uninstalling all my codecs, players etc - now it wont convert at all! My questions are below:

    1.)
Im getting a message in cce
Frame size 756x56 is not supported. Supported Frame size is up to 756x560

The codecs i haev installed are:
    Nimo.Codec.Pack.5.Build.7. - Shareactor
    XviD_Install - From Divx Digest

    Aspi
    ASPI32.SYS V4.6(1021)
    WOWPOST.EXE V4.6(1021)
    WINASPI.DLL V4.6(1021)
    WNASPI V4.6(1021)
it also says:ASPI is properly installed and full operational

    dvd2svcd v 1.1.0 Build C
cce 2.5 SP Version 2.50.01.00 (SDK Version ) (at he top of cce it says SP --noname)

I read somewhere you should have too many-are these enough?am i missing some/a lot?
I thought while waiting to get cce to work again i would us TMPG but that aint working now either it comes up with errors while encoding the movie something like "a00010181" and i need to click "OK" then another comes up-this continues-i dont know if that is another thing altogether!

    2.)
My computer seems to play wav files i create using audio programs but when i try to rip the audio from a divx movie in virtual dub it comes up with an error:
The Requested audio compression is not compatible with the input formate.Check that the sampling rate and channel count of the input match of the requested format
In roxio it i split the audio&video but it seems to not know what wav file is. In sound forge it said the wav file is unsupported!

Im following tutorials exactly i think im missing something have been stuck with this problem for ages. Can any experts out there help me out with a solution?Cheers again

  3. cheers for replying,i have been looking for ages but cant find an option in dvd2svcd or cce to change the frame size - i thought i was missing a aspi driver codec thing!im gonna ask a stupid question can you tell me were to change this frame size

  4. I...uh...cant really answer that. If you use the original DVD2SVCD template for an svcd, it should automatically set it to the right resolution.
Also: What is the size of the original AVI that you are using?

Goto the misc Tab in DVD2SVCD, in the DVDS2SVCD level window put that to advanced.

Now goto the Frameserver Tab and you should now have the resize to option at the bottom.

    Hope that helps

  7. thanks again for replying guys!
im really bad at explaining this-always thought dvd2svcd was excellent time it takes it amazing compared 2 tmpg-just it seems to have went totally pearshaped!

The dvd2svcd log txt file says this :

    ...
    Audio conversion finished.

    --------------------------------------------------------
    - 20/12/2002 01:24:04
    - Free on drive G: 7939.46 mb
    - Video Encoding using Cinema Craft
    --------------------------------------------------------

    Executing Frameserver.
    Closing program

The audio part is fine (i think) cause all the .wav & .mp2 files seem to work just the cce bit!

I have the advanced tab clicked-when to Frameserver Tab and have already hightlighted svcd 480x576 - dont know why cce or even better i dont know where it is getting "756x56" from!really doing my head in! u have resulted in using this mvcd template for tmpg - converting just know meant to be good - but i doubt anywhere near as good as cce!
thanks again in advance for any help

    mr_rasta
I thought i would post my dvd2svcd.ini file, i dont know if there is info in that which can help-i can see shit in there!thanks
