    the problem appears

I dont even come close to understanding this but nero always comes up with an error after ruining a blank dvd. If i want to just play the avi on my dvd player(it is capable) do i have to do anything special when burning? Thanks

Your video encoder didn't work / crashed.

That fact that it took only 7 seconds to spit out the video should tell you it's dead. You can try running encoder yourself and feed it the AVISynth script (should still be there) and see if it generates the M2V file. If it does, you can author directly with GUIforDVDAuthor or similar program.

    HEy Goomer:

Why dont you try with another encoder ?? QuEnc or NuEnc ?? they are slower but they have better quality.
If that dont work try to create a new avi file with virtualDub .It worked for me once or twice.

    hilario.
