I copied a radio program to a dvd and now I need to extract the audio and burn it to a CD-R, I bet its really simple, could someone explain how to do it. I can extract the audio to an AC3 file with DVD2avi but what do I do with it after that.

There are a few ways you could go about doing that. The first and probably the easiest it to get your original dvd files, then open them in dvd2avi, but instead go to audio-->Dolby Digital and click on decode instead of demux. Also, you need to to select 48 -> 44.1KHz to make it cd audio compliant and you can choose the quality of the conversion, but the higher quality the longer it will take.
Your other option would be to use BeSweet. It'll give you better quality, but it's harder to use. Get BeSweet and a good GUI (Graphical User Interface) here: http://dspguru.doom9.net/. BeSweet is a command line program and the GUI makes it easier to use. BeSweet can transcode your ac3 to wav without having your original vobs. The website also has guides to show you how to use it.
