  1. based on the MPG files. If the File I created in TMPGenc is already DVD compliant ... but nero says you are not allowed to do it. Must I redo them again [the mpgs] to separate the Mpg file into Mv1 and sound mpa format. Advise ? As it is so time consuming. What is the easiest software that will take the mpa or ac3 sound and mv1 files automatically

Jeez.. you people need to start doing some studying on your own. NERO is just a burning program - it does not author your DVD. I imagine that you are trying to dump MPEG files into the DVD-Video template in NERO, and it is telling you you do not have DVD complient assets (that NERO recognizes).

If you want to burn a DVD, then pull out some authoring program and let it author the files. Then dump these into NERO and it will burn for you.

  4. Ifoedit v0.95 is freeware and can do the needed DVD authoring.

You need separate video (m2v) and audio.

If you want chapters, you can type up a text file called CellTimes.txt
Though what the numbers represents I do not know (frames, seconds?)
