  1. Just got my dvd writer and have started converting my 700mb avi files and have a few questions.

What sort of minimum bitrate do i need to use to keep the same quality as my avi?

Im using TMPGenc to encode, do i use pcm audio or mp2 and vbr or cbr for the best quality?

If i use mp2 audio, do i need to go above 192kb?

And the video, do i use cbr or vbr etc?

When using pcm audio why does it separate the video and audio, because i cant author with DVD moviefactory then?

Any other advice on TMPGenc settings for the best quality versus size, i was hoping to fit 2 600mb to 700mb avi (80 min each) films on one dvdr such as the 2 Toy Story films found on edonkey, is this possible keeping the same quality?

    Any advice much appreciated!
