  1. Hi all i am having great difficulty with sound on black hawk down, i have used virualdub to save my sound to a wav file, then i am using tmpgenc. Now the film sound starts of great but it starts to go out of sync towards the end..When i first load the avi file to virtualdub i get this message

"virtual dub has detected an improper VBR audio encoding in the source avi file and will rewrite the audio header with standard cbr values during processing for better compatitibility. this may intorduce up to 0ms of skew from the video stream. if this is unacceptable decompress the entire audio stream to an uncompressed wav file and recompress with a constant bitrate encoder (bitrate:128.0 +0.1kbps)"

Now all this has lost me?? i thought by saving the wav file i was decompressing the audio stream?? i have used this technique before and its always worked..Any ideas all??

    Many Thanks

    Chris
