Had this unit for about 2 weeks and so far it has performed quite well. I was curious though what others thought of the video quality. For the most part it seems very good, but I notice some fuzzines/jaggedness around people at times. The other night I was watching MIB2 and during certain scenes, the picture around the neck/face lines of the actors seemed slightly distorted. The lines weren't real crisp if that makes any sense. Also, when white on black credits roll, the letters don't seem as clear either.
I realize it could possibly be my tv. It's non-digital so I'm using the composite video out. Bought a Monster Video cable, but the picture looked the same to me. Granted this is not a huge nor consistent problems, and maybe I'm just being picky, especially for what the unit costs. Just curious to know if any other owners experience the same thing from time to time.
Thanks in advance for any replies :P

I haven't experienced that at all. I've had the 500 for about a week, and none of the movies I've watched show what you describe. The first movie I watched on it was MIB II, and I got a very crisp, well defined picture throughout the film. The 500 is connected via component cables to a Sony Wega though, so it should have a better pic than w/ a composite connection like yours.
