I have the standard TV Wonder. AFAIK, the only difference with the VE is mono audio only. I can cap in 720x480 to 10Mbps MPEG-2 in PowerVCR and WinDVR, and could probably do so in other programs (for hi-res AVI caps) if I were willing to use the btwincap drivers. I run 98SE.

so this is a matter of drivers? i use avi-io and win movie maker for caps. should i change drivers and cap software?

if you are using wdm drivers then avi-io will have problems since it likes vfw drivers. There is a wrapper you can get for vdub to cap above 320x240 with wdm or using the different wdm capture programs. Also could use the old vfw drivers which should enable you to cap over 320x240 easily with avi-io.Originally Posted by rsuave5tuco
