i have some music clips that are in 320x240 resolution, so stretched out on the TV it looks pretty bad, however i think they would look ok at half size seeing as its a fairly large tv. So is there any way of putting like a frame around the picture so the original clip is in the middle of the screen? that way the low res isn't quite as noticeable. hope you get my meaning, its kinda hard to explain. Currently using TDA 3 to compile various clips off other dvds onto one with menu/chapters etc

That sounds like you are talking about 'letterboxing'. You will probably have to re-encode to do that. I'm not sure if TDA 3 can do it, but here's a screenshot from TMPGEnc Plus:

And you do realize that 320 X 240 apprears to be a NTSC format?

If you use TMPGenc as redwudz suggests, I would say to output to 352x240 and not 720x480 as in his example. 352x240 is valid for DVD and will give you a much smaller border than to do 720x480. You could resize up to 720x480 with a border, but resizing will decrease your quality somewhat and I don't recommend that.

The Avisynth method is also a good suggestion, but Avisynth can be a little tough for newbies.
