That is because you should capture at 640x480 and not 620x240 (unless you just want to resize i horizontally, but I always capture both fields)

Use MMC 7.6 to capture it produces better results:

This was asked in another thread...
I suggested 640x480 to get both halves of the frame and I was told I should cap at 740x480 to get there "entire" NTSC frame .--

What is the final format going to be?
If you're going to end up producing a VCD/SVCD/CVD, then I would reccomend 480X480. I really can't tell a difference, between the results of a 480X480 capture and a 640X480/720X480 capture. Actually, I notice that the 480X480 captures that I do contain less noise.
For me, 480X480 seems to be the best standard, all around capture size. -

Will MMC 7.6 or 7.7 work with the 16MB AIW 128? I have MMC 7.2 and for AVI capture it really sucks! Will this allow me to captur AVIs with 480 lines of horizontal resolution?
Thanks,
