how can i get 83 mins video on a single 80 min cdr ?
i know that i can overburn some audio discs using cdrwin , but that wont do vcd's. is there a vcd burning tool that will allow the overburn ? i have been able to over burn to about 3 - 4 mins with very few problems.but not so far with vcd's .
i have easy cd creator v5.0 platinum ed.

  4. You could simply build a VCD as a CUE/BIN disc image with VCDImager.

Then, burn this image with CDR-Win.

Remember, the degree to which you can overburn depends on your media, and your burner. There are no "guaranteed" amounts by which you can overburn.

i have tried this , and i got to 99 % done before the burner (acer cdrw 32 x 8 x 4) and the media (700 meg generic MR data cdr) ran out of room . i worked it out and im only 10 megs short of fiting it on the disc ! but that still doesnt leave enough room for the toc. any ideas on some other media that are more flexible when it comes to over burning ? or has anyone tried the new 99 min cdrs yet ?

  7. As far as Nero and Easy CD Creator getting along, the problem was Adeptec's Direct CD in older versions. I have both Nero 5.5 and Easy CD Creator 5 on same machine and they get along just fine.
