TMPEnc audio converters are a work in progress, the last time I checked. It does have an option of using external audio encoders, but if you want the easy way out, try this guide.

  3. No suggestion, unfortunately, but I'm having the same problem. How can TMPGEnc not pick up the audio when the audio is obviously there when played in MP? It just smacks of careless programming to me.

  6. I've got same problem but with MPEG-2 files in TMPGEnc. After MUXing them to make them readable on a VCD only DVD player, the audio is out of whack with the video. Playing the original MPEG-2 file before the MUX doesn't have this sync problem. What's the deal?
