    If a movie is 24 fps which format should I use. Like NTSC, NTSC Film, or Pal

    well where do you live would help answer that question more fully ..

    but ntsc film if you live in n. america or japan

    Well I live in North America. I had to use just the NTSC. That worked. It wouldn't with the NTSC film which was my first try.

    well thats film -- 24fps .. you picked the wrong one .. 23.97 internal / 29.97 external (or 23.97 and use pulldown) .. same diff ..
