Camera SONY Analog Hi8
Capture card DC10pplus(only captures at 640x480 and 320x480 in Premiere
Video in question recorded in 16:9 full frame mode.
Converting the 16:9 to 4:3 letterbox is easy enough in Premiere
But Its my intent to create a DVD for viewing on an HD TV.
So, I guess my question is when I export the the video, what dimensions should I set the export too to automatically have it display properly on a 16:9 screen what aspet should I use specifically(Anamorphic etc.). Note that I do not have DV so I cannot use any of the DV aspects I do have canopus Procoder but exporting to its MPeg-2 setting does not achieve the proper results. I do not see anything in the FAQs that adresses 16:9.
Also to view the same video on a standard 4:3 in letterbox. Is that some smart ability of the DVD coding?
Pete
