  1. hi,

    i have tried to put a subtitle into a vcd-movie, i have done everything, the frameserving with virtualdub and so on, saved the vbr........., BUT, when i come to open the vbr file in tmpeg, it says that i cannot open it

    plz, someone, help me FAAAAAAAAST !!!,

    or, i dunno, shall i wait some time, or shall the frameserving, just stand there while im opening, or........what shall happend ???, cause, thats how its stands in the artichle,

    plz, someone, help me,

    here it is it works for me, tough its pemanent ( you cant switch between subtitles)
    Use vdub as a frameserver, add the filters in this order:- ( crop ( nulltransform ( if you need that), letterboxing ( resizeing to 4:3 or 16:9), the textsub filter ( you'll need srt files, adjust alignment from top, char 16, white ), resize again to svcd

    I've done this several times, problems can happen if you do NTSC to PAL ( sub can desync, but a program called ssa ( sub station alpha) solves that. A good thing with this method is that you dont need to cut the sub, vdub is intelligent enough to do so.

    After this frameserve it to cce, I code sound separatly with tmpeg, then joining the whole with bbmeg.

    Have you run Vdubs auxsetup? You must first install the handler for frameserving with auxsetup.

    You have to leave the frameserving window open when opening the .vdr in TMPGEnc.

  4. I have also a problem when i open my vcd with virtualdub, add subtitle and frameserv to tmpgenc or cce.

    What version of virtualdub you use.
