    I have quite a few mpg files that TMPG says it cannot open or is unsupported. It is really quite frustrating, any suggestions please?????

    are these by any chance MPEG2 files?
    if so you can get the plugin on the tools page for MPEG2

    when you loaded it into MovieId....what was the codec?
