    Hi,

    I would be most grateful if someone could advise me how to boost the volume of my dvd rips. I have used dvdx and the volume of the movie is great. I am using dvd2avi and TMPGEnc to encode the mpeg. I have tried the advanced setting to change the volume whilst encoding but the volume is still not as good as dvdx.

    In DVD2AVI under Audio check Normalization.
