Hi you computer guru`s out there ! I just wanted to thank all of you for your help, especially Sefy ! Thanks to Australia !! :grin
But i do have another (actually 2) questions:
    1. when I rip a DVD (with smartripper and DVD2AVI, following Sefy`s guide) it works perfectly well. But since I`m living in germany, I`d liek to get sometimes the german Audio from a DVD. All the time I`m getting the english audio (not that that would be bad, not at all: I love to watch english movies). But sometimes I would like the german version. Is there a possibility to choose from different audio track`s ?
I thought it might be possible with Flask ?
and my second, I think a little bit dumb question: I tried to download DVDx, but didn`t find an .exe file ???
I know thaT`s rally dumb, but can someone help me anyway ?
    Thanks

  2. Hi
    On your sceond question.
DVDx it's a rar file not exe file. You need to download WIN RAR to open that file.

  6. For your first question, you need to select a different audio track in DVD2AVI. That's where different language versions of the audio are stored.

  7. if you use flask to do your movies
you can choose which audio you want
or indeed which subtitles you want
i only use flask for vcd s because it s the fastest prog for it

  8. Smartripper it will create a file (vts_01_INFO.txt) with all the track info in it. Open it with notepad and find which track number the german language is on.

    eg:
    Stream[001] X=[[0xE0] Video PAL 720x576
    Stream[002] X=[[0x80] Audio English AC3(6Ch) 48kHz
    Stream[003] X=[[0x81] Audio English AC3(2Ch) 48kHz
    Stream[004] X=[[0x82] Audio English AC3(2Ch) 48kHz
    Stream[005] X=[[0x20] Subtitle English
    Stream[006] X=[[0x??] Others

    Track 1 = 0x80
    Track 2 = 0x81
    Track 3 = 0x82
