I have used DVDx to rip showtime, no problems there.
I then used SmartRipper to encode into SVCD, and the result was 3 files about 700MB each.
I opened them in Windows media player and everything is fine.
I burnt them onto CD using nero and closed the wizard and manually selected SVCD, when through the menus and burnt.
No problem burning.
I then put the CD-R into my DVD player and it starts ok, but the sound is out, the lips move and then the sound. Also ttried VCDEasy, but same problem with sound
But the files on my HDD when played using win Media player, it doesm't happen.
How can I fix it, or should I use a different Prog to burn the Mpeg files.

Just one more thing, I just tried playing the SVCD using Power DVD on my PC and it works fine, sound matches pic.
I have the latest stand alone Toshiba DVD player, and that is where the sound doesn't match.
