Missing Picture Part Way through Movie

Can anyone help with this

I ve got a DIVX copy of Episode 2 which appears to be perfect

However when I try to convert using TMGEnc the picture disappears after 50 minutes and doesn't come back - its just a black screen although the sound continues to play

I've tried a couple of times but the picture always goes off at the same point

Any ideas ? I've never seen or heard of this happening

If you get an error message when opening the video or audio like file unsupported
or you get an empty(black) video preview window
or the video look wierd in the video preview window like green or purple or pink
Be sure that you have installed the DivX Codecs (both DivX 3.11, 4 and 5) and also try with the Nimo Codec Pack. If that does not work try to change the codec reader settings in TMPGEnc under Option->Environmental settings->VFAPI plug-in and right click on the DirectShow Multimedia File Reader and increase the priority to 1 or 2 and try open the video.

Thanks for that I'll try altering the TMGEnc settings

The problem doesn't appear to be codec related as the DIVX plays fine all the way through and the resulting MPeg is fine all the way through until the 50th minute when it turns into a black screen , not a preview screen , but the actual screen using my external DVD player and Power DVD 4 both turn black
