    Hi,
    Can anyone tell me how to fix bad and undecodeable frames? or how to fix the problem of receiving the error message "internal error mmx" also when reading in an MPEG, the error message "MPEG import error, packet sync error on packet stream"????

    To fix bad frames, use virtualdub.
    Start virtualdub, open your avi.
    Video->scan stream for error (this will take a few minutes)
    Once you have don this you can either frameserve fro virtualdub to your encoder (see guides for info) or save out a new copy. To do this select Video->Direct stream copy, Audio->direct stream copy, File->Save as Avi.

    As for packet sync error etc, if this is from vdub, it means you are tring to open an mpe-2 stream. Virtualdub will not open mpeg-2.

    Don't know about the mmx thing, sorry.
