Virtual Dub Mod video combining?

Hi. Can Virtual Dub Mod combine (splice) two .mpg files into one .avi file? I guess I could use a different program to combine them, but Virtual Dub Mod is the best program I've found for cropping video to a custom frame size (like 704X360) & it would be nicer to do it all at once.

Not directly. You can convert each MPG file to AVI then concatenate the two AVI files with File -> Open Video File, File -> Append AVI segment, then File ->Save as AVI (direct stream copy). Or you can use an AviSynth script to open both MPG files, then open the script with VirtualDub which will see the two MPG files as one big file.
