  1. Hi,

    I have been using m2 edit without problem for a while, but now when i try to cut a vbr svcd from tmpgenc i of about 1.4 gb I end up with 2 files both 1.1 gb, what is going on here???

  2. Perhaps your earlier editing was for mpeg1 video ? M2-edit does ok for mpeg1.

    However, for mpeg2 the multiplexing that it does is atrocious because the filesizes can end up nearly twice the size of the original. Luckily, it's not something that can't be fixed. Simply, demultiplex the mpg file into a m2v video and a mpa audio file, and then remultiplex with another tool such as bbMpeg. After remultiplexing, things will be back to normal. I have to do this all the time after editing mpeg2 with m2-edit. Just be sure to have the extra disk space needed.
