...Hi guys - trying to back up my copy of the special edition of Brian DePalma's "Dressed to Kill" - problem is this - I just want the movie, no more, but this disc allows you to play either the theatrical release or the un-rated version. Somehow both versions are mingled so when I rip the movie VOBs, the scenes that differ between the rated and unrated versions are shown one after the other within the film, which otherwise is fine, if that makes sense - is there some sort of playing around I can do with IfoEdit or should I just give up?

a long winded solution.. ignore the fact that those parts are there for now and encode the whole movie as normal. then cut and join the file so you remove the scenes that you don't want.
just an idea

Fair suggestion! I did also think that I could possibly rip the menu's and maybe with a bit of pointer re-jigging through IfoEdit I could just squeeze the menu (with "rated/unrated version" choices) and the movie itself onto a disc... I'll have a go...
