I've had a few problems ( like most newbies ! ) with sync problems when I'm converting a DIVX file to VCD
One of my problems seems to be that the DIVX source has about 40 seconds of audio silence before any sound begins . Whenever and however I strip the audio stream this silence does not seem to be converted and hence when I merge my audio back to my video in TMGEnc the audio starts without any silence and my film is out of sync
I tried using the original audio and video streams in TMGEnc but again the same result
I have put the 44 seconds of silence back into the audio track using Goldwave but is this always the case ?
Any advice would be appreciated
For Info the audio compression used in the film was MPEG LAYER 3 CODEC ( professional )
Cheers
Fred
