  1. Has anyone else been afflicted with 'FlaskMPEG has performed an illegal operation blah..blah..blah..' when trying to close the program after a successful conversion has finished or just trying to close it... period? I ALWAYS get this error, and I have to reboot to get rid of the error 'window'. Keeps popping up when I try to close it. Any help is appreciated, cuz DVD2AVI always causes a BSOD and I can never finish a full conversion.

    Thanks

Happens with both Flask 594 AMD
    and Ver. .06

(Don't know of any software/hardware info is needed. Ask if so)

  2. Yeah that happens to me too, on both the machines I use to
    encode with.

That's why I stopped using Flask. I use DVDx or dvd2AVI->TmpgEnc
depending on what I'm after (VCD or SVCD).

  3. o...try a different version of flask...some may be buggier than others...

however, that's not a good reason to just give up on flask as it allows some things that dvd2avi can't do...

i.e. flask can add subs w/o extra proggies, and it has it's own ifo parser (unlike dvd2avi) so it allows you to choose which angle you want to frameserve into tmpgenc (handy for DVDs with multi-angles or seamless branching that have theatrical and director's version in the same set of vobs)
