Hi. I am hoping that someone might be able to clarify something for me. I am capturing from VHS via a Sony camcorder (using Scenalyzer Live to capture) and opening the captured video in Virtual Dub 1.4.10 via an Avisynth script using the MainConcept DV codec. Finally, I am frameserving this into TMPGEnc with the intent on creating a standard SVCD file. Everything appears to be in order, but one oddity I am noticing is that when I open the frameserve.vdr.avi file in TMPGEnc, the Encode and Video Source Fields are set to non-interlaced, when I know that the source .avi is interlaced. If I open the .avi instead of the frameserved file, it indeed sets it to interlaced. Does anyone know why this happens? I have encoded a few test SVCD's and they appear to be ok, but before I begin converting a stack of VHS tapes, I just wanted to make sure that all is right from the get-go.
Thank you very much in advance for your consideration!

Just make sure you settings match your source, and you'll be fine.
