    I'm burning dvd-r with a pioneer 104, but when I burn with NERO, it won't play on a ps2. Is there another burner out there that will?

    Did you look in the DVD players list on compatability?

    It could be the media, burning method, or your PS2 version might not like DVD-R at all.
