What's with my monitor??

Every now and then during the day my monitor just goes black and flashes "DPMS Off Mode" and then flashes "DPMS Suspend Mode". This happens all the time. I always have to reboot to get the picture back. Somebody saids that my video card is shutting down. Well what do I do to fix this? I tried reinstalling the drivers and it still occurs.

Does the PC stay on, or is this turned off too ?
I had a cheap power suply once, that couldn't handle the power peaks on the power net very wel, causing it to turn off the PC every now and then.

If the PC stays on, try using another videocard or your card in another PC if you have the possibility.
