  1. Hi there m8ies..

Are there any rocket scientists out there who can explain to me(in dull format) what the f**k Decimal point error means, when converting an avi file >> mpg(vcd) in TMPGEnc plus

1> I have stripped the wav file using virtualdub 3c
2> I have used an original template

The prog converts for about 25 min then pops up the error

Please any info will be well appreciated

If TMPGEnc freezes or crashes when converting or you receive errors such as
    Unexpected decimal point calculation
Illegal floating decimal point calculation order

Try first to change the codec reader settings in TMPGEnc under Option->Environmental settings->VFAPI plug-in and right click on the DirectShow Multimedia File Reader and increase the priority to 1 or 2 and try open the video.
Or try to convert the audio to wav before converting(If you have problems extracting the audio using Virtualdub try use AVI2WAV).
Or try to repair the AVI,DivX or the ASF.
Or try to use avidefreezer to fix your video source.
