  1. After I convert a divx movie to vcd format, it works fine, but when I burn it as a vcd and play it on my dvd player, the sound skips, is it my player or what? I use Nero to burn my vcds

  2. Did you make a true standard VCD? If you used a high bitrate your player may have problems keeping up.

  6. Standard for a VCD is 1150. Check the DVD players section, and see what others have found your player to handle without problems, when you encode, lower the birate to that level. Should help.
