    how do i convert the sound from a xvid avi to wav???
    the avi wont open with virtualdub.....
    please help me.....

    Are your Nimo Codec and XviD codecs installed? Anyway, try to load your video into Gold Wave. If it accepts it, save it as a wave file -- voilá!
