  1. i have goldmember in avi format (i have no idea what the codec is, but divx player cant play it), and i want to convert it to mpeg 2 for later dvd authoring. the movie is 94 minutes and when i try to convert it with tmpgenc, it says that it is 259 miutes and 40 seconds long. it plays on gdivx, windows media, realplayer, and if you click "preview" in tmpgenc, you can see the video fine. Also when i try to convert it into mpeg 2, tmpgenc says that the estimated file size is 6646.40 mb under 3000kb per second dvd format mpeg 2.

i have no problems converting any other movies, it is just this one file.

    please help

    DVD2AVI......-2
    TMPGEnc Project.....-2

Rest of them set all on 0

And now you wont even need to frameserve - just load the XviD files into TMPGEnc as you would any standard AVI file and encode as you wish.
